Everyone’s a critic! Even, apparently, 55-year-old women in bars who can’t resist telling prominent soccer coaches, like Columbia’s Hernan Dario Gomez, what they’re doing wrong.
Unfortunately for Gomez, the lady was not much of a fighter and she failed to slip his punch and took one for the team. Now, he’s been forced to resign his post and is also has to defend himself on his treatment of women, telling the media, “I have always been a defender of women, and I admire and respect them. This act shames me with my mother, with my wife and with all the women in my family and in the country.”
Hey, maybe they’ll let him coach the Colombian Woman’s Team?
