First off: the video below is Mostly Safe For Work. You really don’t see “anything”, but it’s not for want of slowing down the video, squinting and watching it repeatedly. Not much detail on what is happening here, but it appears she’s a fan of the Dynamo Kiev team whose male fans have a tradition of taking off their shirts and bouncing up and down in the stands. This young lady decided to join along and, except for a strategically places team scarf, this would be an R-rated video you wouldn’t be seeing here.
With the scarf, well, you just have to use your imagination. Does this ever happen at American football games?
Hard to tell exactly what’s going on in this video, other than it involves UK soccer fans behaving badly. But really, how do you get past security with a pocket full of road flares?
This information was with the YouTube video;
This shows dickhead Birmingham City scumbag fans pitch invading after beating Aston Villa in the Carling Cup quarter Final. Aston Villa fans ripped out the seats & threw them into the crowds. Birmingham replied by throwing LIVE flares into the stands. Police struggled to gain control for about 10-15 minutes, but retaliated with riot police & whacking the thugs with batons.
Ever thought about becoming a sports reporter? Sitting up there in the press box, eating a hot dog, typing away on your laptop while the game went on? We have no idea what they are saying in this video, but obviously the members of the losing soccer team are NOT happy with the local media. Tempers flare, punches and kicks are thrown and a reporter ends up on his back. This all takes place in Brazil, where soccer is obviously much more popular than here in the states. It also appears to be more popular than sports reporters.
Yes, you read that correctly: this happened at a soccer game in the US. Visiting fans from the Celtic FC decided that things were not hot and smokey enough in Philadelphia this summer and set off four road flares. You know, the kind you set out on the highway when your car breaks down? And anyone who has not held one of those in your hands does not know the heat and flame power they have.
Ultimately stadium security and the cops were able to put them out and sounds like all those involved were not only accused of drinking a bit too much, but they were also arrested on charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. Watch the video of this stupidity below.
As much as week hate soccer, we LOVE soccer fans, especially European soccer fans who never learned how to lose gracefully. We wonder sometimes if they even pay attention to the games.
Eight supporters were arrested during disturbances at the South Wales derby in the Cardiff City Stadium yesterday. Police in riot gear held back hundreds of Cardiff and Swansea fans as seats were ripped up and thrown at rivals after the final whistle was blown. Police dog handlers joined hundreds of officers in the stands as coins and other missiles were hurled. Four supporters – two from Cardiff and two from Swansea – were arrested for alleged public order offences. Another Bluebirds fan had also been arrested after storming the pitch following Michael Chopra’s equaliser in the first half. And two Swans supporters were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after toilets in the visitors’ end were vandalised.
