HS #Football Players Face Criminal Charges for Finger in Anus, Punch to Groin “Initiation”

The high school sports hazing season is winding down, but not before two more high school football players decide to “initiate” new members to the team on a bus ride home from a game. (According to our research, school buses have now surpassed locker rooms as the favorite hazing spot for high school jocks.) And now, they are not only off the team, but face criminal charges.

This latest incident takes place at Glacier High School (Montana) where Logan Robert Jones, 15, and Charles Victor Calobeer, also 15, face misdemeanor assault charges for a sexually violent hazing incident back in September. According to police reports, victims were grabbed from the front of the bus (while the chaperone coach slept) dragged to the back and had a finger inserted into their anus over their clothing. Some victims also say they were then punched in the testicles.

Nothing says “Welcome to the Team!” like having your genitals abused, does it?

Good Jock: Michigan Girl Named Homecoming Queen, Kicks Game Winning Field Goal

Every once and a while we like to post a “Good Jock” story, to remind everyone that there are good stories in sports out there.  Take this one about Brianna Amat, the first female to play on Pinckney High School’s (Michigan) varsity football team. She also stars on the school’s girls soccer team and decided one day she wanted to see what it was like to kick a football. She did, and did so well at it that the football coach gave her a tryout, and she became Pinckney’s kicker. In a game last Friday night, she learned at halftime that she was named Homecoming Queen (aw!) and then late in the game kicked a 31-yard, game winning field goal. (video below)

You just know Lifetime is going to make a bad movie about this, don’t you?

Painful Sports Video: Another High School Foot-brawl

Another Friday night, another high school football game. And another brawl. This one starts while the quarterback of the red team is still being held up in the air and the ref’s whistles are blowing. The game was played (until it was called early) in Sacramento, California last Friday night between McClatchy High School and Kennedy High School.
