She later claimed that she sent him photos from the phone of her in her bra and panties. Undoubtedly her phone contained enough evidence for cops to decide to press charges against him. The victim also claims the pair had sex three times at his home while his wife was at work. According to the story, coach McKellips wife is the one who posted the $25,000 bail to get him out of jail.
For his part, McKellips only admits to kissing the girl once on the cheek at his him in front of his wife. He charged with felony offenses of repeated sexual assault of a child, exposing genitalia and using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, and each count carries a maximum prison sentence of 40 years.
We’re all for the creeps involved in HS Coach Sex Scandals to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but to get not one but TWO LIFE SENTENCES for sexting? That seems a bit extreme and certainly WAY more punishment than female coaches ever get in this kind of situation.
