In a move that surprised only the Associated Press (which had already decided to let the Trojans keep their mythical national championship despite the long list of infractions involving Reggie Bush and others on the team) the Bowl Championship Series has stripped the University of Southern California of it’s half of the title for that year. Instead, the title for 2004 will–for some unknown reason–just be handed to Ball State University which has never won anything ever and feels left out. Congrats Cardinals!
