First, we never knew that there was even a National Holiday to celebrate Bikini Fitting Day for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.

But apparently there is . . . or should be.

And the other thing we REALLY didn’t know was that not only does such a day exist, but it also requires someone to take pictures of said Bikini Fittings, but also to publish them for worshipers to enjoy. God bless you Jerry Jones!

And the Petrino mess gets worse.

Now the guys over at DeadSpin, who obtained all 2 million pages of the former Arkansas football coach’s phone records, say he sent more than 200 text messages last fall to a young woman named Alison Melder.  According to her now deleted LinkedIn profile, Melder is a graduate of Arkansas-Little Rock and worked as a Senate assistant with the Republican Party of Arkansas. But in the not to recent past, Ms. Melder also did a little modeling and claims to have won the 2008 Miss Bikini USA and Miss Motorcycle Mania competitions. She certainly is the exact opposite of Petrino’s other love interest, Jessica Dorrell.

Now, that doesn’t prove that two were more than just texting buddies, but it does make you wonder how Petrino, 50, was able to coach the Razorbacks to an 11-2 season while married and juggling at least one, if not more women?

Now THAT’S talent.

According to one of the ladies, “We are the best woman’s team in Russia and have won many championships, even representing our country in the Uefa Champions League. But few people have ever heard of us and we don’t get many people coming to games so we’ve decided to give our profile a boost by appearing in bikinis.  We hope it will also improve the numbers of tickets we sell.  We think it’s a good idea – our players are beautiful, great athletes and determined to win.”

Nah, it will probably still be boring.
