GREGG HENSON OF WDFN IN DETROIT WINS BADJOCKS.COM'S FIRST EVER "BIGGEST A-HOLE IN LOCAL SPORTS RADIO" AWARD

The polls are closed and the sports fans have spoken! In an extremely close race, Gregg Henson, morning show co-host and program director at WDFN in Detroit, narrowly defeated Bruce Jacobs, morning host at XTRA in Phoenix, 48% to 45%. The other three contestants combined received only 7% of the vote. More than 35,000 votes were cast over the past two weeks. 

For a while it looked like Bruce would take the Golden Crapper Award (or Crappy, as it's know in the industry) but over the last few days, Gregg surged into the lead and held on to win. Gregg's "Crappy" (similar to the one awarded Chuck Booms of Fox Sports "Kiley and Booms" who won for Biggest A-Hole in Sports Talk Radio earlier this year) will be sent to him in the next week or so. (Hopefully, we can get photos of the awards ceremony to post on this page. Please check back for additional information.)

Thanks to everyone who voted, everyone who submitted a nomination, and all the local sports talk radio a-holes out there. You know who you are. We wouldn't have a Crappy Award without you!
