Even When Cheating, Woman Loses Weight Using Fat Loss 4 Idiots

I started this diet 4 weeks ago, weighing in at 176lbs and a size 16-18. I am in the middle of my second 11 day run. As of 2 days ago, I lost 10lbs and went down to a 12-14. I have cheated a little each week so I would say that is pretty good.

Is "Fat Loss for Idiots" a Scam? There are a couple of ways to answer that question.
First, can it be a scam if the website exists? In this case Fat Loss 4 Idiots does exist and appears to be operational, so in that sense it is not a scam. Second, it could be a scam if the website takes your money, but does not give you anything in return . . . like my ex-wife (I'm joking!). Third, when we say "scam" do you really mean "does it work?" As in, "if I follow the guidelines offered by Fat Loss 4 Idiots (also known as The Idiot Proof Diet, in case you didn't already know) will I finally lose weight?" From the reviews I've read, both professional and from actual customers (see reviews below), it does appear that MOST people lose weight on Fat Loss 4 Idiots, some even more than the 9 lbs in 11 days that it claims, which seems like a dream come true.

Did Doctor Oz Really Endorse the "Fat Loss 4 Idiots?"

On the Doctor Oz show on February 3, 2012 episode of his show, Doctor Mehmet Oz introduced his "Fat-urday" diet concept. What is a Fat-urday? According to Dr. Oz, it's a day to go off your regular diet and consume more calories so that your body's metabolism "resets." That is, if you are consuming say 1500 calories a day, your body gets used to that, thinks you're in starvation mode (something that helped our ancestors survive periods of drought and famine) and you begin to burn less fuel to survive.  That's why it can be so hard to lose weight after several weeks of strict dieting. It's not you! It's your body's inner settings that fight against you. So Dr. Oz's suggestion is to give yourself a day to splurge (okay, not go on a bender) where you can consume say 2500 calories in a day. That tells your body the "famine" is over, and according to the show, your body will release the fat it's been holding on to during that period. Sound familiar?

 

To those of you who have used the Fat Loss 4 Idiots (aka Fat Loss 4 Idiots) the answer should be a resounding "Yes!" This diet is also known as the "11 Day Diet" because after following it's computer generated, easy to follow, menu for 11 days, you get three days off to eat ANYTHING. "The Easiest, Most Tasty Way, I Have Ever Lost Weight!

I only wish I received a commission for every person I have turned onto this diet. It is the easiest most tasty way I have ever lost weight.

I was desperate....I was going to try the diet that gets delivered to your door each day. But I figured how was I ever going to "learn" to eat right again if I wasn't cooking and thinking for my self. (was on low carb successfully for over 4 years but it became dull and boring... I missed fruits and to be honest breads). Then I went to Jenny Craig for the weigh in... What a shock I was fat! Not just chunky but really fat. I had not realized I had put on a solid 28 lbs. over the past year. Jenny Craig would have probably worked but again I would still need to go shopping for supplemental food and I would not be cooking and preparing for my self.

So back to the delivered meals. Well in my Internet search somehow dieting for idiots came up. $38.00 sure seemed like a good deal, not even a day worth of delivery diet and what if it actually worked. I plunked down my credit card and began to play with the diet. There were a few dinners that were already planned and I could not miss. What was wonderful though was that I could keep playing with the diet until those pre-planned days matched up with my schedule.

Well it was a bit difficult the first few days getting up earlier to plan out my menu and put together my lunch but after the first 8 days I was already seeing fabulous results. By the time day 11 came I had lost 8 lbs. I went off for 3 days (enjoyed myself but did not go overboard) and resumed on Tuesday. I like to have Saturday, Sunday and Monday's off. By the end of my second rotation I had lost a total of 16 lbs. I began on January 2nd and by mid February I had lost a total of 23 lbs. Mind you there were free weekends that were total disasters (+5 lb. weekends), but if I go right back on the diet those lbs. come right off and so do more. The most difficult part of this diet is getting all that water in me.

Best of luck to all that try and if you don't succeed its because you 1-did not drink the water, 2-did not eat all 4 meals and or 3-didn't really follow the idiot proof plan.

I'm Jennifer and I'm responding to your request for reviews of this diet. Here's my story. I lost 40 pounds on this diet in August & September and have kept it off (just lost the holiday pounds).
Here are some more tangible benefits I've experienced:
1) I'm wearing clothes I've had to dig out of my 'skinny stuff' storage bins,
2) my blood pressure has dropped back into the normal range (it was about 150/92 and has now dropped to 118/78 - my doctor's thrilled),
3) I just passed out of the BMI 'obesity' range into 'overweight, and
4) I have more energy that I've had in years. The diet itself was extremely simple, it really is idiot-proof.

The only hard part is making yourself stick to it, but that's more of a mind-set problem than anything else. I'd reached the point of being absolutely fed up (pun intended) with being fat and decided I wasn't going to spend my 20's overweight. That's what kept me on this diet and ultimately what made it work for me. There are also some mental tricks I used, such as looking at the floor as I grocery shop until I come to the exact item I need (you've got to know your store, of course). And I save my eating out for my three 'off' days - I've saved at least $20/week not eating lunches out. But knowing you have that break sooner rather than later is a great mental boost.

There are other diets I like and have had moderate success on, but this is the only one I've ever found that causes significant weight loss (and the benefits that come with it) in a short period of time. If you want this to work, get rid of the junk food in your house, be prepared to make two dinners for yourself and your family, plan to be around restrooms regularly (you've got to drink ALL the water it tells you to), and don't plan nights out on the town unless it falls on an 'off' day. And on that note, I'd highly suggest a Monday start, as this would time your 'off' days for the following Fri/Sat/Sun.
