Kilted Streaker Becomes TV Star Down Under

Scottish streaker in Australia "Braveheart"In most countries, if a man ran out in the middle of a major sporting event in a skirt and lifted it up to reveal he wasn’t wearing any underwear, he’d not only get arrested, he’d likely get taken for a psychiatric evaluation.

But not in Australia.

Down under, you see, they have a slightly different sense of humor, so a Scotsman in a kilt at a rugby match is probably a welcome distraction. In this case it was Murray Greig, 22, who followed the Scotland team on a world tour that landed them in Australia for the first time in 30 years (you fellas gotta get out more.) The Scots won 9-6, which prompted young Mr. Greig to run out onto the field in his kilt, do a handstand (NO!) and then proudly lift it up as he raised a triumphant finger into the air. The result? Greig became a media start in Australia, where the local press dubbed him “Braveheart” and the ESPN channel used his antics to promote the tour broadcast.

How did things turn our for this streaker? According to Greig, “I was running around the pitch and security guards were chasing me. I managed to dodge them for about another 30 seconds before they caught up with me. The police asked me for ID but I didn’t have any, so they let me go.”

Golf Course Breast Flashers Update: Amateurs or Pros?

Okay, so it’s been more than a day since we first saw the story of the two women in St. Louis area who were arrested for flashing their breasts at an Illinois golf course on Monday. Here’s what we know for sure:

1) Alicia Binford, 43, and Shelly Lewis, 45 were allegedly for showing their breasts to male golfers.

2) Binford and Lewis were NOT playing golf according to police.

2) The original complaint was called in by someone who drove by the course (which is in a residential area) and could see the ladies flashing groups of golfers from a road.

3) The Madison County, IL Sheriff’s Department was called, observed the same behavior and promptly charged with indecency, but were later released on $100 bond.

What we don’t know is whether these ladies were amateurs or pros? You see, at BadJocks, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of strippers uh, “participating” in golf tournaments. Based on our secondhand knowledge though, usually they women hired to “work” these events are . . . how shall we put this delicately . . . younger.  Not that you have to be 19 to be an attractive stripper, but don’t most of the pros hang it up by their mid-thirties? (I’m sure some BadJocks reader with more extensive knowledge in this area will correct us.)

This is not to say that Ms. Binford and Ms. Lewis are not attractive women. At least one source is saying that Ms. Binford is the owner of the Binford Bar and Grill in nearby St. Peters, MO and–based on photos at their website–she and her friends (assuming it’s the same Alicia Binforda: please let us know if it is not) dress up in costume for parties at the bar and can be seen as Santa’s Little Helpers and Playboy Bunnies. It looks like a fun place.

So, we’re back to our original question: assuming the cops arrested the right two female flashers (another report says they nabbed the wrong pair of pairs) were they being paid to do this or were they just flashing for free? And if they were doing it for free, why? (Okay, we know why they male golfers would want to see it, but why would a couple of mature ladies risk getting arrested?) And also, would this violate some kind of ordinance against amateurs taking work away from union strippers?

Or is Illinois a “right to strip” state?

Two Women, 43 & 45, Arrested for Exposing Breasts at Golf Course

What would compel two women in their 40s–who don’t appear to have stripper names–to expose their breasts at a public golf course in the middle of the day? Maybe it just got so hot today they took their shirts off and just forgot they weren’t at home? Maybe they both got hit on the head with the same errant tee shot and they went topless crazy?

About all we know is that the Madison County, Missouri Sheriff’s Department was called about 2 pm on Monday after receive reports of women exposing their breasts at Woodlands Golf Club. When officers arrived they observed Alicia L. Binford, 43, and Shelly L. Lewis, 45, both of O’Fallon, Mo, “lewdly exposing their breasts on the golf course property.”What’s not clear from the original police report is how LONG the cops observed this behavior before they made their arrest. We’re guessing three to four hours.

They were both arrested and taken to the Madison County Jail where they were charged with a misdemeanor charge of Public Indecency.

It doesn’t say if there was a special golf tournament going on that day, of anyone had been drinking or if this was just a dare that went WAY too far. There are supposed to be more details coming out on Tuesday, so stay tuned. This might turn out to be very interesting. At right, Binford and Lewis’ mug shots. Not bad, not bad.
