Not a lot of details about this story.
Just another example of seemingly intelligent young women who are throwing their careers away for sex with underage males. Don’t think this has reached epidemic proportions? Check out the list of Female Teacher Sex Scandals at our sister site, The DumbAss Daily. There’s at least one case like this a week these days, and sometimes close to ONE A DAY. Is no one telling them this is against school policy at the least, and possibly a felony at the worst? Hey, it’s not like we don’t try to get the word out there.
In this case we have Erin Queen, 27, a girls basketball coach and teacher at Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was arrested on Saturday morning, after she allegedly spent the night at a Candlewood Suites hotel room (they do have nice rooms) with an underage boy. According to some reports, the boy told his parents he was staying at a friend’s house, the parents called to check on him and when they found out he wasn’t there, they called police who eventually caught up with the couple at the hotel at 4:30 am.
Yes, 17 is above the age of consent in most states, but an Oklahoma statute defines rape “where the victim is at least 16 years of age and is less than 18 years of age and is a student…and engages in sexual intercourse with a person who is 18 years of age or older and is an employee of the same school system.” She will be charged with felony first degree rape.
Some reports are saying Queen is married, but we can’t confirm that. If she was, and these charges turn out to be true, she probably won’t be part of a couple very long.

We cover a lot of high school coach sex scandals on this site, and a lot of teacher sex scandals over at The Dumbass Daily. And, after a while, you think you’ve seen everything and that nothing will surprise you anymore.
Now we get to tell you about Cornelius Davis, 29 a special education teaching assistant and counselor at Brookland-Cayce High School (SC) who is accused of sexually assaulting a member of his Special Olympics girl’s basketball team. Not once, but allegedly several times as the team traveled. Eventually the girl told a nurse about the relationship.
The good news? Because each incident may have happened in a different jurisdiction, coach Davis could face charges in a number of different locations. He currently faces second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, but that should change. Oh, and there is also probably a Special Place in Hell waiting for him some day.

You remember the color guard at your high school right? Young ladies (and sometimes young men) who performed with the marching band, usually carrying large flags at some point? Well, we’ve had some bad marching band directors before on this page, but we can’t recall a naughty color guard coach. Until now.
Now we have color guard coach Jenny Hart, who was accused of having a less-than-appropriate conversation on Facebook a high school boy about his virginity and her sexual prowess. When confronted with the crime, Hart initially claimed her Facebook account was hacked, but later admitted to the conversation, but insisted she never touched the kid.
Hart is now charged with transmission of harmful material to a minor for the online.

It’s not often that coaches or gym teachers are actually caught in the act when they have inappropriate relationships with underage students. Usually it starts with gossip among students and faculty, parents noticing something out of the ordinary or a spurned girlfriend or boyfriend. But this time we do mean “caught in the act.”
This time we have Basalt High School (CO) gym teacher and girl’s basketball coach Lauren Redfern who was allegedly in her office bathroom at school with an 18-year-old male student when the school’s athletic director walked in looking for her back on February 9th. Once caught, she immediately left the office with the startled AD and the school immediately launched an investigation.
Additionally, because Colorado has a “person of authority” rule, the fact that the boy was above the age of consent does not matter in this case. A police investigation has determined that the pair has been “hooking up” (as the kids say) for the past four months, starting when the student was 17 and the encounters allegedly took place at her home and his. Except for that last one in the office bathroom.
Redfern, who is in jail currently awaiting a bond hearing, faces two counts of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, pattern of abuse. The later is a Class 3 felony.

Indianapolis police aren’t saying exactly what was going on Sunday afternoon at Eagle Creek Park, but the do know that Timothy Wolf–the boy’s basketball coach/gym teacher at Martinsville High School for 25 years–was sitting in his 2010 Chrysler 300 naked, and, uh, aroused. Next to him was a 17-year-old girl who did have her clothes on, but is still a minor. Wolf was arrested on a preliminary charge of public indecency. And, to make matters worse, this was all happening within about 30 to 40 feet of a playground.
According to another report, the girl (who was released without arrest) was a recent graduate of MHS and reportedly worked at a Subway restaurant that Wolf is said to own. Buzz at the school is that alleged “inappropriate behavior” between her and Wolf had been taking place for the past year and was a regular topic of conversation among teachers and coaches at the school. And no one said anything?
What was going on between the two in a public park in the middle of the afternoon? Because of his sudden “early retirement” on Monday we will likely never know, but it is one of the more unusual High School Coach Sex Scandals we’ve covered. According to reports, in 37 years of coaching, Wolf had a record of 457-348, which put him 10th among active coaches for wins.

Nothing new about coaches playing practical jokes on players. And, anymore, it seems like coaches and faculty at the high school level are getting chummier all the time. But that still doesn’t excuse girls basketball coach/principal Mike Loftin at West Harrison High School who pulled the warm-up pants off of one of his players.
Usually the players have their game shorts underneath. But not this time, which is unfortunate for both Mr. Loftin and the player, Callie Merriman, 15. According to reports, Merriman left her shorts at home that day, went home to get them, but had not put them on as she and other players waited to board a bus for an away game. Once depantsed, she slumped to the floor to cover herself.
The school will not say how Loftin has been disciplined, but local police are investigating.
