HS Cheerleader Refuses to Cheer for Player Who Allegedly Raped Her

In many of the stories we come across here at BadJocks, we find that the high schools and colleges can be overly sensitive to the situation, over reacting and trying to hard to protect their "precious little snowflakes" as some refer to today's children. Then we have the case of the high school cheerleader at Silsbee High School in Texas who's known only as H.S.. H.S. has had a rough year: at a party last October, she claims three young men sexually assaulted her . . . including a member of the boy's basketball team.

The evidence against the attackers must have been slim because a grand jury refused to bring charges against the player, Rakheem Bolton, despite claims that there was evidence that he threatened to shoot the occupants of the house where the Oct. 19 party took place after the homeowner refused to return clothing recovered from the room where the assault allegedly occurred. Bolton also allegedly threatened a teacher at the school and, despite the sexual assault charges and alleged attendance at a party where alcohol was served remained on the basketball team. That's where the problem for the cheerleader, H.S. comes in.

According to a lawsuit filed on H.S.'s behalf by her parents, the cheerleading coach and school principal wrongly accused her of violating the "Cheerleaders' Constitution" (you know the one that starts "We the Cheerleaders . . . ) for failing to cheer for the entire basketball team. When, according to her family H.S. only refused to specifically cheer specifically for Bolton when he was shooting free throws. In the end, it sounds like H.S. was brought up on charges, so the family is now suing not on the school district, but also the DA who failed to bring charges against Mr. Bolton.

There are no good sides to this story, but it does seem like someone in authority could have handled this whole thing a lot better.

Dirk Nowitzki's Girlfriend, Cristal Taylor, Arrested at His Home on Probation Violation

By all accounts the Dallas Maverick's Dirk Nowitzki seems like a pretty good guy. Maybe TOO nice a guy, as we're reading stories about the arrest of his girlfriend, possibly his fiancee, Cristal Taylor. And, unfortunately for Nowitzki, the list of problems this woman has is not a short one:

- Taylor, 37, is actually 8 to 10 years older than Nowitzki thought she was (he's only 30)

- She has a problem remembering her own name, reportedly using a whole slew of aliases over the years including: Crystal Ann Taylor, Christian Julie Wellington, Christian B. Travino, Crystal Nobles, Christy Nobles, Kristi Briana Westerhauf, Cristal Taylor Westerhaus, Christa A. Westerhays, Deborah Jackson, Shana Mancini, Crista Santiago, Crystal Ann Santiago, Crystall Ann Taylor and Kristin L. Rogers.

- Taylor (or whatever her name is) allegedly has a history of financial crimes and numerous identities that dates back at least a decade and spans two states, records and interviews show.

Now, some sources are also claiming that Taylor is also pregnant with Nowitzki's child. Stay tuned.

Oh Manny! Ramirez Tests Positive for Banned Substance, Will Sit Out 50 Games

Manny Ramirez of the Los Angeles Dodgers has been suspended from Major League Baseball for a whopping 50 games after testing positive for HCG, a drug just recently added to the league's banned list. The drug, with the full name of human chorionic gonadotropin, is normally prescribed by doctors as a fertility drug for women or to help men who have low testosterone levels and may be trying to conceive. On the bad jock side, HCG can also be used by male athletes to increase the production of testosterone after steroid use to help mask the use of performance enhancing substances.

Of course, Ramirez denies any wrong doing and claims the drug was prescribed for a legitimate medical condition and that he and the doc didn't know it was banned.

So, what do you think: Is Ramirez a juicer or did he just get caught in an unfortunate set of circumstances? Your comment below.

Details of HS Coach Sex Scandal #31: Man Bought Plane Ticket to NYC for Sex With Girl, 13

The only problem? There was NO 13-year-old girl online: it was a fat, bald middle-aged cop pretending to be a young girl. But that was enough to fool Marc N. Greenberg, girls basketball coach at Chaminade Julienne High School in Ohio. Eventually he got so caught up in the ruse that he actually bought a plane ticket to New York (where the girl supposed lived) in order to have sex with her.
The conversations became more sexually explicit as time passed “as he persistently suggested and requested that (the investigator) perform sexual acts for his own gratification,” according to an affidavit filed in federal court May 1. Investigators traced the bballguy5555 screen name, as well as the screen name aig2010@aol.com, to Greenberg’s office.

Last month, Greenberg told an undercover investigator posing online as a 13-year-old girl from New York that he had purchased airline tickets to fly there to meet the girl for sex, according to an affidavit filed in support of the federal obscenity charges against him.

But Greenberg never made the trip. He told the investigator his wife had discovered a credit card bill with the airline charges and asked him about it. Greenberg said he told his wife the credit card had been stolen and he had canceled the trip, according to the affidavit.

Headline of the Year? University of Oregon to Frisbee team: No Pants, No Season

First off: U of Oregon has a Frisbee team? Second, do you really have to tell supposedly adult males that running around in public without pants is WRONG? What is wrong with this idiots?

Want to hear their excuse? "We put on the longest shirts we had." Yeah, that makes up for the fact that you don't have pants or underwear on.

The basics of the story are this: there is a Frisbee team at the University of Oregon which goes by the name of EGO (Eugene Gentlemen's Organization). Normally they play a game similar to flag football where there's not actual physical contact but points are scored if you catch a Frisbee in the opposing team's end zone. During a match back on April 11 incident, one team went without shirts and five on the other side decided to respond by playing without pants and underwear and, of course, someone complained. The school's club sports executive committee got involved and on Monday the team was suspended for the remainder of the season.

Mexican Soccer Player Banned for Pretending to Have Swine Flu

Soccer players are so funny! Like Guadalajara defender Hector Reynoso who thought it would be funny to cough and sneeze and claim he had Swine flu, THEN spit on a opposing player. Hilarious! Unfortunately, league officials didn't think so and suspended him from all matches in the all important Libertadores Cup.
A Mexican footballer has been banned for spitting at an opponent then telling him he had swine flu. Guadalajara defender Hector Reynoso has provisionally been suspended from all matches in the Libertadores Cup after last week's game at Everton of Chile in South America's top club competition. The South American Football Confederation (CSF) said the length of the ban would be determined in the next 72 hours.

"Reynoso, following an incident in the game, reacted by spitting at Everton player Sebastian Penco and then releasing nasal secretions at the face of the player," said the CSF in a statement. "This situation, lamentable in its own right, was aggravated by the risk of a possible infection of the disease AH1N1 [swine flu]."

Reynoso was widely quoted as saying in the media that he had told Penco he had the disease. He later apologised for the incident, which was reported to have been accepted by Penco. Guadalajara players complained that their opponents taunted them with remarks about swine flu during the game, which ended 1-1. They also said that when the team went to a shopping centre in Vina del Mar, people covered their mouths, ran away, laughed or made remarks about being contaminated.

Happy Mother's Day! Mom of Yankees Joba Chamberlain Arrested for Selling Meth

In all reality, this isn't the biggest problem the Yankees face, but it is one more distraction that they don't need. The good news? Pitcher Joba Chamberlain is pretty much estranged from his mom and hasn't seen her in almost two years, so it's not like she did this from the back porch of his house. The bad news? Check out her mug shot. You can pick up your bottle of eye bleach at the bottom of the story.

The estranged mother of Yankees star pitcher Joba Chamberlain has been busted for allegedly dealing drugs, authorities said. Jacqueline Standley, 44, was arrested Saturday at her Nebraska apartment on felony charges of selling a gram of methamphetamine to an undercover cop, said police Capt. David Beggs.

Standley was being held Monday night on $5,000 bail after being arraigned in the same Lincoln courtroom where her famous son pleaded guilty last month to drunken-driving charges. Beggs said an undercover cop paid Standley $110 for the small plastic bag of speed.
