Headline of the Week: Two Oregon State Football Players Caught Trying to Bribe Cabbie With Pot - There's dumb, and then there's downright stupid, and then there's these two geniuses. Everyone knows if you're going to pay cab drivers with drugs they prefer Ecstasy! Jimtavis Walker and Star Paddock have been charged with assault, robbery, theft of services, harassment and attempted delivery of a controlled substance after attempting to pay a cab driver with marijuana and them stiffing him altogether. According to police, the dimwit duo took a cab early Friday and when they reached their destination they didn't have the cash to pay the $14 fare, so they offered the cabbie some marijuana, but it was refused. Paddock then offered to pay with a credit card, but took it back before the transaction was complete, left the cab, and pushed the driver when he attempted to stop them. Naked UK Soccer Break Dancer Banned From Sport For Three Years - Mark Hargreaves, 34, was banned from any football (soccer) matches anywhere in the United Kingdom for three years after his "routine" during a match between Burnley and Blackburn last year. According to reports, during the nationally televised game, the former professional boxer ran on to a the field and break-danced naked before being hauled away by officers. He was attending the game with his girlfriend's boss . . . make that his ex-girlfriends boss. He also lost his job. According to his lawyer, "He took a bizarre and regrettable decision after having a couple of drinks before the game."

#34! Thomas Gondek, a youth hockey coach and teacher at Greenfield Catholic school teacher admitted to police hat he used his computer to ask juvenile male students sexually explicit questions, such as whether they performed sexual acts on themselves.

Female Student Allegedly Gives Oral Sex "Birthday Present" to High School Hockey Players in Locker Room - Officials at the private Milton Academy in Massachusetts expelled five members of the boy's hockey team for receiving oral sex from a 15-year-old sophomore girl. A school investigation found that the players requested, and received oral sex, from a classmate in a school locker room last month. Rumors are swirling that the sex acts were reportedly performed by the girl as a birthday present for one of the boys. A school spokesperson could not--or would not-confirm that part of the story. So far, none of the boys have been charged with a crime, although several could be charged as adults under MA law, even if the hummers were consensual. In an interesting side note, President Bill Clinton delivered the commencement address at the school two years ago as a favor to a friend whose son was graduating. Pamela Rogers Turner Pleads Not Guilty to Charges of Sex With Boy - Actually, her lawyer enter the pleas and she didn't even show up for court. Her trial is set to start in November.

Today's HS Basket-Brawl Brought to You By . . . Utah! Police arrested five juveniles outside Brighton High School following a basketball game Tuesday night. According to the school principal, the problems started outside the gym after the game as student from both school began taunting each other, and the taunting turned into shoving, which turned into fighting. Eventually, police had to use pepper spray to get one of the students under control.

Caught on Tape: Washington State Joins in With Its Own Basket-Brawl - Not to be outdone, a father of a player on the girls basketball team at Sequim High School punched a coach following a playoff game. Link includes video clip of adults fighting in background as girls shake hands with players from opposing team.

#33! Former wrestling coach at Malden High School in Massachusets accused of sexually assaulting a child. Prosecutors say Everett Bower, 32 started abusing the victim from the time he was 8 years old and a student at Bower's judo academy. According to the prosecutor, the victim described being paddled, both with a physics book and a large paddle until his buttocks bled.

Soccer Team Doctor Accused of Indecent Exposure During Massage - Obviously, this guy thought there was more to the service than just rubbing his back. Armando Gozzini, 44 the team doctor of European "football" giants AC Milan was arrested for alleged indecent exposure to a woman in the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. According to police, Gozzini was being massaged by a female member of staff in the spa suite when the alleged indecent exposure happened.

That Certainly Explains Things: Barry Bonds Tells Media "I Don’t Know What Cheating Is" - At a Tuesday press conference, Mr. Bulky, San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds, making his first public comments since grand jury testimony about his steroid use was leaked, angrily sidestepped questions about his role in baseball's steroid scandal. Though he couldn't--or wouldn't--comment directly on the testimony, he did have harsh words for the media and fans who won't let go of the story, "You guys are like re-running stories. This is old stuff. It's like watching ‘Sanford and Son.’ It's almost comical, basically. ... Are you guys jealous, upset, disappointed, what?" When asked if taking steroids was cheating, Mr. Bulky responded with what will soon become a classic grade-school catch phrase, "I don't know what cheating is." Bonus: Columnist: Barry Bonds Just Doesn't Get It - Barry Bonds angrily dismissed the media Tuesday, but he won't be able to do that when questions about steroids are asked in an open courtroom.

Pamela Rogers Turner Update: Mother of Victim Says Boy Can't go to School Because of Media Attention - The mother of the 13-year-old boy who allegedly had an affair with hot blonde gym teacher Pamela Rogers Turner says regardless what you've heard her son is the victim. The woman--not identified to protect her underage son--told the Southern Standard newspaper that despite reports to the contrary, her son was closely supervised and Turner was a close family friend. She went on to say that her son can't go back to the scene of the crime, Centertown Elementary, because "news trucks are up there everyday."
Turner is due in court on Wednesday to be arraigned on charges that include 15 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and 13 counts of statutory rape.

What Is This, Slap Shot III? Minor League Hockey Coach Suspended for Season for Placing Bounty on Head of Opposing Player - Steve Shannon, the coach of the Motor City Mechanics of the United Hockey League, has been suspended without pay for the rest of the season for allegedly putting a $200 bounty on the head of Flint Generals forward Kevin Kerr. The Hanson Brothers were unavailable for comment, as they were all out playing good clean "old time" hockey.

Husband of Owner of Cheerleading School Under Investigation - The husband of the owner of a Port Orange, Florida cheerleading school is under investigation after two people (including one young female coach) complained that he made sexual advances and inappropriate comments toward some of the girls there. A 20-year-old coach at the school claims the man asked her to lift her shirt so he could see her sports bra. The report also says he touched the coach's "naked breast" and lowered his pants and exposed himself to the young woman after first telling her he shaved his pubic area.

More Steroids Crap: Sprinter Says Doctor Made Up Story to Cover Stimulant Use - The San Francisco Chronicle, home of some of the best coverage of the BALCO steroid scandal, said in a story that for sprinter Kelli White testified that psychiatrist Brian Goldman said publicly that she had narcolepsy to cover up her use of a banned stimulant even though she never had the sleep disorder. White also said in grand jury testimony that it was part of a false story devised by Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative head Victor Conte to cover up a positive drug test.

Ban the Fans? Massachusetts Schools Locking Fans--Including Parents--Out of Games Because of Increasing Violence - Brawls at high school sporting events have become so common lately that school districts are having to take the extraordinary step of locking fans out of games. In the Boston area, the league championship hockey game between Northeast/Malden Knights and Shawsheen Valley Regional Technical High School was closed to even parents after an earlier fan brawl between the two schools. Is this the latest trend in high school sports?

School District Suspended Boozing Cheerleaders for 10 Days in 2002: Three Years Later Their Legal Bills Related to Incident Top $400,000 - A suburban St. Louis school district, which suspended cheerleaders at Holt High School for 10 days for drinking before a 2002 football game, has run up legal bills of more than $400,000 defending itself from lawsuits from the girls and their families. Recently, a federal appeals court rejected the claim of two former varsity cheerleaders that they were denied due process. Unfortunately, a lawsuit filed in St. Charles County Circuit Court on behalf of three cheerleaders and one of their sisters is still being pursued. Here's a report of the incident from back in 2002. In this one the girls charge that after the alleged incident, the cheerleading coach "kidnapped" the squad and interrogated them for three hours in her home.

Serial Soccer Hooligan Jailed for Five Months for Running Onto Field, Challenging Opposing Player to Fight - This loser, Michael Lewis, was already serving a three-year ban from every football stadium in England and Wales when he "invaded the pitch." So you don't think officials are being hard on Lewis, he already has 24 previous convictions relating to hooliganism.

Northern Iowa Football Player Arrested After Brawl With Police; Threatened to Harm Their Families - This is NOT how you make yourself at home: Hakim Hill, a high school running back in the state of Iowa who was dismissed from the Arizona State team last fall, is in trouble before he attended a single practice at Northern Iowa U. According to police Hill allegedly fought with the officers and threatened to kill them AND harm their families during an incident early Sunday when they responded to a fight involving four people at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Iowa City.

Say What? Portland Tattoo Artist Claims He Owns Image on the Arm of Piston's Rasheed Wallace - Can you own a picture on someone else's body? Apparently Matthew Reed from TigerLilly Tattoo and DesignWorks in Portland, Oregon does because he's suing Rasheed Wallace to stop the Detroit forward from displaying the work in ads for Nike basketball shoes. Reed's lawsuit wants the  ad featuring Wallace and the tattoo (an Egyptian looking family with a stylized sun above them) off the air and the Internet, as well as damages. Rival UK Soccer Fans Pelt Each Other With Stones and Bottles - More than 30 British soccer fans were arrested over the weekend in violent clashes that followed Everton and Manchester United's Football Association Cup match. One police officer was hospitalized and four others injured as rival fans threw stones and bottles at each other following United's 2-0 win.

Spiller former seventh grade girls' basketball coach at Hamilton Township Middle School in Ohio was labeled a sexually oriented offender and was sentenced to six months in jail Friday for trying to have sex with students. According to cops, Spiller asked female students to expose themselves and to engage in phone sex. (Thanks to Artie Bigley for another great link!)

Teacher Trouble: TV Station Compares Pamela Turner Case to Debra Lafave - According to the report, "Both are attractive blondes with movie star looks, and both were teen models. In 1999, Debra was featured in 'Makes and Models' magazine, posing with auto parts. Pamela also appeared scantily dressed for a motorcycle ad." NASCAR Nudes: Chassis Expert Caught Along Highway Drunk, & Wearing Nothing But a Towel - Eddie Dickerson, the director of chassis engineering for NASCAR's Hendrick Motorsports team has resigned. The comes a few days after Dickerson's arrest early Sunday morning on charges of disorderly intoxication. According to police, Dickerson, 49, was found at 4:04 a.m. Sunday alongside A1A wearing nothing but a towel. No reason given for his lack of clothing (although I'm sure it will be a hell of story if he can remember it) but he was charge with disorderly intoxication.

Former Iowa Wrestling Coach Charged With Indecent Exposure - Joe Williams, a former Hawkeye wrestling coach and Olympic contender was charged this week with indecent exposure after allegations were made that he made unwanted sexual advances toward one of his wrestlers' girlfriends in November 2003. For his part, Williams says the exposure was an accident that happened when his unit popped out of his boxer shorts during a massage. The girlfriend of wrestler Jason D'Agata has a slightly different story. She claims in a statement that Williams came to her apartment to talk about her boyfriend's wrestling, but the conversation allegedly turned to their sex life. Uncomfortable with the discussion, she left the room and when she came back out, Williams allegedly had his hand around his penis and, according to the statement, said, "I have a way that you can help out Jason; come over here and help me out." Breaking BadJocks News: Titans Safety Arrested for DUI - Titans safety Tank Williams was arrested early Thursday and charged with driving under the influence. His BAC of .08% is the minimum to be arrested for drunk driving, but nowhere near what he needs to make it into the BadJocks BAC Rankings.
