HS Cheerleading “Coach of the Year” Accused of Sex With Boy, 16

cheerleading coachChristina Jewell-Belluccio, buy 32, sovaldi the cheerleading coach from Greece Olympia High School (NY) was named the 2014 “Coach of the Year.” In 2015, ambulance she might have the chance of being “Prisoner of the Month.”

According to police, Jewell-Belluccio has been charged with third-degree rape after allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old male student multiple times last summer at her home and other locations. As happens in a lot of these cases, the school started an investigation when rumors spread that there was an inappropriate relationship going on between a student and faculty person. Jewell-Belluccio also worked as a teacher’s aide at the school before she resigned that position. But once again we have to ask if the lad would have “dated” her if she looked like she does in her mug shot.  Knowing teen-aged boys?  Probably.

In an interesting twist on the usual HS Coach Sex Scandal, it seems the girls on Jewell-Belluccio’s squad still support her and have come to her defense on social media. Details from the Daily Mirror:

One student wrote: ‘Regardless of everything my coach was the best person I’ve met, and this won’t shake my image of her. We love you JB. OHS always and forever.’
Another student wrote that she felt bad for the cheerleaders and said that Jewell-Belluccio brought the cheer program back on its feet.  Her tweet said: ‘I just feel so bad for the cheerleaders. They must feel awful right now. She brought the cheer program back on its feet…it’s just so sad.’
