Little League #Coach Sues Former Player, Claims He Was Injured During Game Winning Celebration

Joe Paris’ son played for a Roseville, California Little League team last spring and scored the winning run in an important game. That’s a good thing.

Then the Paris boy threw his helmet in celebration and allegedly hit the leg of his coach, reportedly damaging the guy’s Achilles tendon and-wait for it–tearing it. (Hurts just typing that.) Not a good thing.

So now the coach, Alan Beck, has filed a lawsuit against the Paris’¬†is seeking $500,000 for pain and suffering, and more than $100,000 for lost wages and medical bills.

Moral of the story: we need to teach our kids how to celebrate safely now, because apparently accidents no  longer happen.
