Video: Idaho Hockey Fans File Law Suit Over Bogus Beer Sizes

This should be illegal . . . or at the least, against the law.

Details of the story from, with video below:

A group of courageous Idaho hockey fans are suing Boise’s CenturyLink Arena for allegedly tricking fans into purchasing “large” beers that were actually the same size as the small. As the video above claims to show, the $4 plastic cup is shorter, but wider than the “large.” So despite the fact that the two cups hold roughly the same volume, fans were being charged $3 more for the privilege of holding a taller cup.

That’s a god damn outrage.

The arena has not commented on the law suit, but has lowered the price of a large beer to $6 and increased the size of the cup to 24 ounces, which would have been a nice thing to do before they were caught red f*cking handed.

“It was recently brought to our attention that the amount of beer that fits in our large cups also fits in our regular cups,” Steelheads president and alleged beer-stealing twat Eric Trapp told Boise’s KBOI-TV. “To correct that problem, we’re purchasing new cups for the large beers that will hold 24 ounces, instead of 20, for the remainder of this season to provide better value to our fans.”
