It appears that when Brazilian soccer players “throw down” they actually start jumping up, remedy as in “jumping up to kick you with their feet’ rather than punch you with their fists. And with spikes on, order that’s gonna leave a mark, for sale regardless of where they kick you.
This all starts with what appears to be a flagrant foul (or a flop, it’s hard to tell in soccer) and before you know it, everyone is jumping and kicking each other. In all, 12 players were given red cards and sent off, but it does give some insight into a possible new sport that involves two teams running around kicking each other until only one of them is left standing.
