High School Basketball Player Arrested for #DUI, Pleads With Cops “I Won’t Be Able to Play in the Playoffs!”

To which the cop on a dashcam video responded, “You’re going to jail.” And it’s all caught on video for his future use in his college application package. For David Allen, 18, the leading scorer of Highland Park High School’s basketball team (TX), tonight was supposed to be the first game in the state’s playoff.  It’s doubtful he will be playing after being arrested last week for driving while intoxicated….

Color Guard Coach Jenny Hart
February 27, 2012

You remember the color guard at your high school right? Young ladies (and sometimes young men) who performed with the marching band, check usually carrying large flags at some point? Well, we’ve had some bad marching band directors before on this page, but we can’t recall a naughty color guard coach. Until now. Now we have color guard coach Jenny Hart, who was accused of having a less-than-appropriate conversation on…

February 21, 2012

UPDATE: We now have a mug shot for Carrie Moore (right) and an update on her blood-alcohol concentration: 0.155%, nearly twice the legal limit. Impressive, but not nearly enough to get her into the World Famous BadJocks BAC Rankings.  She is, however, the leader in the clubhouse so far in 2012. Congrats Carrie! February 13, 2012

Does boxing have any dignity left? Should the goons in charge just lift the “winner’s” hand up before the match begins so they know who is going to win despite the actual activity in the ring? The fans at this bout thought the outcome was less than accurate and when the first chair flew into the ring . . .

HS Basketball Coach Accused of Pulling Down Female Player’s Pants – West Harrison High School

Nothing new about coaches playing practical jokes on players. And, anymore, it seems like coaches and faculty at the high school level are getting chummier all the time. But that still doesn’t excuse girls basketball coach/principal Mike Loftin at West Harrison High School who pulled the warm-up pants off of one of his players. Usually the players have their game shorts underneath. But not this time, which is unfortunate for…

February 7, 2012

Any time your story starts with “underage members of the fraternity had been drinking” you know it’s going to be good. And usually, pilule these types of things happen at frat parties and there’s enough “old school” money to shut everyone up. But, apparently, not this time. No, this time, Louis Helmburg III, a former catcher on the Marshall University baseball team has decided to sue his brothers at Alpha…
