The bad news is that Bulldog soccer player Carli Shultis is banned from all eateries on campus for the next year. The good news? We found a picture of her in a bikini! That makes it all better doesn’t it?
No, not really.
And it really doesn’t explain why a 19-year-old young woman would shove a $1.06 worth of hash browns down her pants when she had money elsewhere that could easily pay for them. So . . . was it part of a soccer team hazing? A dare of sorts? A way to heat up her cold loins?
No explanation is forthcoming, but Carli is still on the team and doing her own cooking these days. But it does make you wonder what it a kid from Eagles Landing Christian School, who claims her favorite movie is called “Law Abiding Citizen” was doing with hot, steamy fried potatoes in her underwear. Surely a college student could find a better place to hide them?
You knew this was going to happen at some point, didn’t you? With young people using cell phones to record every moment of their lives these days, eventually someone was going to bring one into the locker room shower and capture stills or video of someone naked. And, as bad as that would be, you know the next move is going to be to send it to all their friends.
It finally happened last week at Henderson County High School in Kentucky. And, unfortunately, one of those involved in the incident was over 18, making him the criminal when it comes to distributing naked pictures of a minor.
On Sunday, one of the team’s players, Gavont Baker was arrested, accused of being involved in a scandal that rocked the team. Police say that incident took place in the school’s locker room after practice.
They say some of the players began horsing around after taking a shower. But, police say that horseplay turned criminal when one of the students recorded video on a cell phone that showed a player naked.
Police say that video of the under-age player was sent by cell phone to several students. Students tell 14 News, Baker was kicked off the team and some of the other players involved were punished.
Police say there are five suspects in this case. But, Baker is the only one who is 18. Authorities are not saying if the others will face charges. Baker is expected to appear in court in March.
To which the cop on a dashcam video responded, “You’re going to jail.” And it’s all caught on video for his future use in his college application package.
For David Allen, 18, the leading scorer of Highland Park High School’s basketball team (TX), tonight was supposed to be the first game in the state’s playoff. It’s doubtful he will be playing after being arrested last week for driving while intoxicated. Allen’s car allegedly hit a parked car a week ago Saturday and he reportedly fled the scene.
When officers finally caught up with the star athlete, he initially told cops he had no been drinking and then admitted to “only a few sips” from a friend’s drink. To which the officer in the video responded: “A couple of sips? You can barely stand up.” Eventually Allen blew a 0.122% BAC, well above the 0.08% to be considered a drunk driver, and about 0.122% higher than someone under the age of 21 should be blowing.
The saddest part of the video? After Allen is handcuffed and taken into custody, you can hear him telling the cops about a basketball game that he was supposed to play in Tuesday night. Says Allen, “I won’t be able to play in the playoffs. Our opening game is Tuesday.”
Responded the cop in deadpan, “You’re going to jail.”
You remember the color guard at your high school right? Young ladies (and sometimes young men) who performed with the marching band, usually carrying large flags at some point? Well, we’ve had some bad marching band directors before on this page, but we can’t recall a naughty color guard coach. Until now.
Now we have color guard coach Jenny Hart, who was accused of having a less-than-appropriate conversation on Facebook a high school boy about his virginity and her sexual prowess. When confronted with the crime, Hart initially claimed her Facebook account was hacked, but later admitted to the conversation, but insisted she never touched the kid.
Hart is now charged with transmission of harmful material to a minor for the online.
We could be wrong about this, but we’re pretty sure that if you’re a high school basketball player, you shouldn’t be riding the bus home from a game naked. That’s seems like it should be an obvious thing, but apparently the coaches and staff at Prairie High School in Cottonwood, Idaho didn’t get the memo.
A mob of parents showed up at the latest school board meeting to hear details of shenanigans (yes, we used the “S” word) that have apparently been going on for the past three years, and allegedly much of that time under the watchful eye of the coaching staff. For the most part, the parents were upset about not being told what was going on with the naked bus trips that occasionally including some sexually explicit contact, such as one player placing his genitals on another player’s face.
Again, we’re not saying we know everything, but it seems that one guys junk in another guy’s face is probably not something you’d want to encourage on the team bus. But, then again, maybe that’s how the Prairie High boys like to relax after games. Who are we to say?
They never tire of doing the tough stories none of the rest of us want to touch. Like the 10 Best Cheerleader Bloopers in NFL History. Not just from last season, but in the entire history of the NFL. They must have looked at hours and hours of footage over weeks. But if they hadn’t we wouldn’t have this report, would we?
