#UGA Tailback Suspended for Opener, #Bulldogs Holding Open Auditions for Replacment: Bring Your Own Helmet

Georgia’s junior Carlton Thomas was supposed to start at tailback when the Bulldogs open their season against Boise State on September 3rd, but won’t be able to after “violating team rules” during spring practice.

The good news? The ranks of running back are so slim at UGA that the school will let anyone who wants to try out for the position next week. Seriously: anyone.  Regardless of whether you are old, young, in-shape or built like a bowling ball made out of Jello. They’re really desperate. Just bring your own helmet and a note from your parents. Who knows, they might eventually put your picture next to Hershel Walker in their hall of fame? (Our sources are telling us that the Weather Channel’s Stephanie Abrams has the inside track on the position right now.)
