Nicholls State Golf Coach Accused of Stealing Over $6000 From Country Club – James Schilling

Obviously, we’re not playing college golf coaches enough. Especially after a guy has been on the job for 13 years! You’d think he’d get a small raise over that time, or at least some from balls.

On the other hand, police think James Schilling has been skimming from the cash register sinc3e 2007 and the country club where he works is just now noticing the money is missing?

Here’s more on the story from WWL-TV:

The golf coach at Nicholls State University has been arrested in connection with a series of thefts from the country club where he worked as a pro, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.  James Schilling, 35, is accused of taking over $6,000 from the pro shop beginning in March 2007.   The Sheriff’s Office said an investigation began when the club reported thousands of dollars missing.  There is no indication that the money was used in any way in connection with his position at Nicholls State University.
