Couple Suspected of Stealing From Volunteers at Special Olympics Event

There’s low and then there’s low, and then there’s these two idiots. After looking at surveillance video, police believe Ronnie Kerr and Audra Britain stole from the belongings of people who were volunteering for a Special Olympics swim meet in Oregon. We have a table for two at the “Special Place in Hell” diner for these two. The only good news? They are still on the run and the cops could use your help tracking them down. Take a good look at the mugs shots at right.

Details from KPTV:

Gresham police have identified two people accused of stealing at a Special Olympics swim meet. Police say a tip pointed them toward Ronnie Kerr and his girlfriend, Audra Britain, in the theft at the Mt. Hood Community College’s aquatic center last weekend.

Surveillance video shows a man and woman walking down what police describe as a hallway where families and volunteers at the event were storing their belongings. The man served as the look-out for the woman, police say. During the first pass through the hallway, she took a purse and about 10 minutes later, she rifled through a bag and took a wallet, according to police.

Officers say they used the college’s surveillance video and footage from stores where the pair used the victim’s credit cards to verify the pair’s identity. Both Kerr and Britain are believed to be living in the Oregon City area, officers say, and might drive a black Geo with California plates.
