Painful Sports Video: Bench Clearing Soccer Brawl in Singapore
By now most of you are aware of the bad blood between Singapore’s Young Lions and the Beijing Guoan (who doesn’t, right?) But that ancient soccer rivalry got out of hand in front of a sell-out crowd of more than 800 last week when some rough tackling (the soccer kind) turned into even rougher punching and kicking.
Of particular interest: at about 2:20, a series of players from both benches join in the brawl, but come in feet first, attempting to kick opponents in the chest, rather than punch them in the face as most American basebrawl players would do.
Love your sight … but I didn’t see the “sell-out” crowd anywhere in the video – unless everyone wore blue empty seat costumes.
It’s midget fighting. None of them are over 5’3.
