MLS Soccer Fans Taunt Opposing Coach, Arrested for DUI, With “99 Bottles of Beer” Song

Ah, sports taunting! You know American’s have embraced a sport when the taunting gets a little creative . . . like this example from a recent MLS soccer match between the Philadelphia Union and Kansas City Wizards. The Wizards coach, Peter Vermes, had recently been arrested for DUI, so Union fans naturally serenaded him with a rousing rendition of the classic “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall.”

We would have also accepted “Show Me the Way to Go Home” and “I Love This Bar” by Toby Keith.
