About the only good thing we can say about this incident is that at least it happened during a championship game and not a regular T-ball game between 5-year-olds. Still, not a good example to set for the kids there fella.
A Union City coach was arrested last week after he tried to attack an umpire, officials said. Jose Polanco, 43, of Bergenline Avenue, was reportedly ejected from a June 18 Cal Ripken Baseball League championship game at Washington Park on Second Street after cursing and threatening an umpire because he didn’t agree with a call the umpire made, reports said.
Forty-five minutes later, at approximately 9:30 p.m., when the game was over, Polanco reportedly lunged at the umpire and attempted to punch him. The umpire, Joe McSorely, 37, says it’s not the first time Polanco has tried to attack someone, which is why he signed a complaint against him, he said.
“He should never be able to coach a kid again,” said McSorely, an umpire with Union City for the last four years.
An assistant girls soccer coach at Ashley High School in Wilmington, NC is facing a bunch of charges for an in appropriate relationship with one of his players and could be charged in multiple jurisdictions. That’s because he and the girl, 16, went to a relatives house in another county to have sex on more than one occasion, so charges could be brought up there as well.
What exactly are “crimes against nature?” According to Wikipedia, that would include “sexual practices that have historically been considered to be crimes against nature include homosexual acts, anal sex, bestiality, and necrophilia. Other less common examples include fellatio, and cunnilingus.”
Brian Reardon, 24, of Rainwater Court in Clayton, was charged by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Thursday with two counts each of sexual offense with a student, indecent liberties with a student, crime against nature and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Reardon was an assistant soccer coach at Ashley High School in Wilmington, where the female played soccer, according to a press release from the OCSO. He was previously arrested by the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office due to offenses allegedly committed in Wilmington when his relationship with the student was found to be more than coach/player.
An investigation was initiated by the Onslow County Sheriff’s office in May, due to allegations that Reardon had a sexual relationship with the player, at her family member’s home in the Richlands area, according to the release.
Ah, there’s nothing like basket-brawl. Especially when the fighting ends with so many players being ejected that the game ends in a three-on-three. Here’s more from TheHoopDoctors.com (video below):
Apparently European players are taking it to heart when Americans claim that the overseas game just isn’t as physical or tension filled as the NBA. In yet another ugly international incident, upwards of 18 players in the Serbian League Finals were ejected in an unbelievable brawl, which forced Game 2 of the series to be played out as a 3-on-3 match-up in the game’s final minutes.
Just two weeks ago TheHoopDoctors.com brought you a video of the carnage surrounding some irate fans throwing explosive devices at players and referees during the Greek League Finals. Now, a battle royale type melee which would make Vince McMahon of the WWE proud, ensues between the Serbs. All of these unfortunate instances just gives international basketball another black eye for their sport and may facilitate a number of top players like Linus Kleiza and Josh Childress to flee in exodus back towards the NBA.
As for the incident in question, while battling for position for a rebound, two opposing players feet get tangled and both players hit the floor. Apparently one takes offense and takes a swing as both are still on the floor. As both chest bump and sissy slap each-other, after getting back on their feet, benches empty as a vicious array of headlocks and judo jabs ensue before officials can help regain order to the game.
A physical education teacher at Trinity High School in north St. Louis County was accused yesterday of giving one of her students an extra workout — so to speak — in her parked car.
Wow! Talk about being subtle with your lead. Sounds like something we would write. Anyway, once you read this story you begin to see that this is typical of many stories we cover here at at The Dumbass Daily: female teachers who just can’t find anyone over the age of consent to have sex with. This time it’s a lady gym teacher from St. Louis County in Missouri.
St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office yesterday charged 26-year-old Kellie Ryan of Maryland Heights with second-degree statutory rape and two counts of statutory sodomy. Authorities say Ryan fostered a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male student that lasted from November of last year through this past April. Ryan allegedly carried on the relationship inside her car while parked off school property.
As usual, we’re not surprised to learn that someone has stolen money from a youth sports league. What surprises us is the amount people like these two former officers of the Boone County Youth Football league were able to make off with without anyone noticing: $18,000. Admittedly, not as much as some of the embezzlement stories reported, but still quite a bit of cash for the folks in Lebanon, Indiana. And what did these two idiots spend the money on? Trips to Vegas or sports cars and hot chicks? Nope. Household expenses, according to police.
Chris Shockley, 39, and Adam Roberts, 35, were charged with three felony counts of theft in a warrant issued Friday in Boone Superior Court, police said. Police said the charges are the result of a two-month investigation into money discovered missing when new officers were elected to the organization. After examining the group’s financial records, the football league board contacted the Lebanon Police Department. Investigators believe the men used the money primarily for household expenses, police said.
Ah, those dreaded hickeys are always a dead give away . . . especially when you’re a 15-year-old girl dating your 23-year-old track coach. Dude couldn’t even spring for a motel room: she had to leave her window open so he could slip into her bedroom after midnight and make-out with her.
At right, the mug shot picture of Mr. Romance, Allen J. Morris.
While helping coach the Orfordville Parkview High School track team, Allen J. Morris is suspected of talking with a team member on Facebook. The 23-year-old man is accused of developing the Facebook friendship into a relationship, eventually meeting the 15-year-old girl at Footville Park and at her home.
They are suspected of kissing at the park, kissing near the school’s choir room and later having sexual contact when Morris sneaked into her bedroom after a track meet. According to the criminal complaint:
Morris and the girl began their relationship in March, and it lasted three to four weeks. After a track meet in April, the girl invited Morris to come over to her house. She left her bedroom window open, and Morris came in between midnight and 2 a.m. The girl’s family was home sleeping.
The two watched a movie on the girl’s bed and kissed. Morris gave the girl hickeys on her neck. The sexual contact then progressed. The girl’s mother saw the hickeys, but the girl told her mom they were from a boy on the track team.
