Cop Pulls Gun on Angry Little League Fans
How bad are things getting around youth baseball these days? Parents are getting into such heated battles over a game involving pre-teens that one off-duty officer had to use his gun to break up a fight.
It started when 43-year-old Keith Evans got into an argument with the officer. When the officer walked away from Evans, two parents got into a fight. The officer then stepped forward to break up the fight — and claims Evans jumped in and threatened to “cut me.” Fearing for my life and others, I drew my weapon in an attempt to take [the] subject into custody,” the officer states in the police report. Evans then ran into the crowd and the officer re-holstered his weapon.
