Okay, we’re not saying this NEVER happens, but it happens so infrequently–to the lady coaches–it is worth pointing. What probably did Eraelia Glisson, 35, is the fact that when cops arrested her last November, she was already out on probation for giving booze to some underage girls back in 2007. That, and the fact that she made a videotape of herself having sex with the victim, which probably made the cops job much easier. At right, Eraelia Glisson mug shot picture. (We’ll get her prisoner ID number for those of our readers who like to write women in behind barns. Hey, it’s a hobby. Not a good one, but it is a hobby for many.)
A Greenfield woman who was previously convicted of supplying alcohol to her teenage Bobby Sox players was sentenced to more than two years in prison Friday for having sex with a 16-year-old boy.
In rejecting a request for probation, Judge Terrance Duncan noted that Eraelia Glisson clearly has issues when it comes to boundaries with teens.
In November 2009, Greenfield police investigating a domestic disturbance obtained a videotape Glisson had recorded of one of her sexual encounters with the boy. They also seized methamphetamine and MDMA, also known as Ecstasy. She pleaded guilty to the sex, porn and Ecstasy charges in February and was to have been sentenced March 3. At that time, Duncan sent her to the Department of Corrections for a psychiatric evaluation to determine if she would be a good candidate for probation.
On Friday, prosecutor Cristina Johnson said that evaluation, by three different individuals, as well as a pre-sentence probation report, all recommended a prison sentence. Additionally, Johnson said, Glisson had already proved a failure on probation. At the time of her arrest, she was on probation for her 2007 conviction for contributing to the delinquency of minors by giving teenage girls alcohol.
