Arkansas Football Player Caught With Weed, Fake Oklahoma Driver’s License

Sounds like this kid is ready to jump to the NFL. All they need to know is that he is beating up his girlfriend and the Bengals would sign him in a minute.

Sophomore cornerback David Gordon was one of two Arkansas players arrested Monday by police on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.  According to a University of Arkansas police report, Gordon and walk-on defensive back Hunter Miller were lying in the back seat of a car Monday night when an officer approached the vehicle and could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana.

A cloud of smoke rolled out of the vehicle when Miller opened the door and a plastic bag containing a “green leafy substance” was found inside the driver’s side door panel, according to the report. One of the odd things about the arrest was that Gordon was listed as David Lopez on the police report because he has an Oklahoma license that identifies him as David Lopez. Gordon is from Tulsa, Okla.
