Girls Youth Hockey Coach Charged With Child Endangerment

Coaches are supposed to keep an eye on their players, but repeatedly walking into the locker room of your team of female hockey players is probably going to get you arrested.

State Police in Elbridge tell CNY Central that 50-year-old James M. Stocker of Pasture Gate Lane in Baldwinsville is charged with four counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers allege that Stocker, who was an assistant coach of the Lysander Lightning girls hockey team this past season, repeatedly entered the players’ locker room while they were getting dressed and undressed. He also allegedly compelled a player to undress in his presence and made various inappropriate comments to his players.
