Streaker Livens Up Cricket Match, Disappoints His Nana

Not only did this guy streak a usually staid cricket match, he apparently thought about it far enough ahead of time to write on his back (maybe someone else helped?)  “Nana Said Not 2″. You have got to think that Nana is very proud anyway after that incident, right?

Normally a Black Cap taking a wicket in his first over in international cricket would be the talking point at the Basin Reserve, but not after a streaker invaded the pitch during the first session today.  Brent Arnel’s early success was quickly forgotten after the man, who is believed to have created a Facebook group to advertise his streak, made his way across the pitch.

New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori was seen laughing at the scene as the man evaded security guards, cleared a boundary fence and made good his escape from the central Wellington ground.  The man, whose identity isn’t known, had ‘Nana said not 2!’ written on his back and provided some light relief after Australia had dominated the early stages.
