Ric Flair’s Wife Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Vince McMahon should sign Jacqueline Beems for the next Wrestle Mania. She seems to be the only one who can put the beat down on the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. At right, Ms. Beems mug shot picture which doesn’t look to us like she’s ready to tap out for anyone.
Pro wrestling icon Ric Flair’s wife Jacqueline Beems was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault early Monday in Charlotte, North Carolina, RadarOnline.com has learned.  Police received a domestic violence call at about 11:40 p.m. Sunday from Flair’s house. Flair, 60, married Beems, 41, on November 11, 2009. She is his fourth wife.

Hot Women of Curling Calendar 2010 – Fire and Ice

For some reason, we are seeing lots of media reports about how popular the Olympic sport of curling–actually WOMEN’S CURLING–is this time in Vancouver. (US Women Beat Great Britain for Second Win in a Row!)

Could it be less about the sport and more about the good looks of the contestants? The other thing that might be helping is the recent creation of what’s known as the “Fire and Ice” Calendar, a fundraiser for women’s curling that features some of the more attractive participants wearing little or nothing. We first profiled “Fire and Ice” back in 2005 when they were just getting started, having a hard time finding these hotties and even a harder time getting sales off the ground. (It also probably doesn’t hurt that some of the contestants are wearing those ultra-tight Lycra curling uniforms that appear to, uh, cut down on wind resistance.)
Things seem to be looking up for both the calendar and the sport of women’s curling. You can still get your 2010 calendar (cover shot at right) here. (We think the retail price is still $16.95 plus shipping.)

Dolphins Will Allen Arrested for DUI, Blow .160 BAC

If the cops put up a barricade and tell you that you can’t come through, best to turn around and go. No sense demanding you be let through . . . especially when you’re drunk.
Dolphins CB Will Allen was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Miami early Saturday.  Police charged him with DUI, and he became the second NFL player (with Washington’s Byron Westbrook) so charged in two days.  The Miami Herald revealed that Allen’s arrest report said he approached a barricade near South Beach and lowered his window to tell police officers he wanted to pass.

“I gotta get through,” Allen said. Told the road was closed, Allen insisted, “You don’t understand. I gotta get through.” Two Breathalyzer tests revealed Allen’s blood-alcohol level to be above .160 and .152. The arrest report said police asked Allen to step out of his vehicle four times before he vacated.
