Top Five Best Golf Cart Wreck Videos

What is it about small electric vehicles that makes us act like idiots while driving them? Makes us worried about the future of electric cars, but we’ll run into that bridge when we come to it, we guess.

Below, our Top Five Favorite Golf Cart Wreck Videos. But first, a couple of rules: we’re only going to show people driving the carts at an actual golf course, not someone trying to imitate the Jack Ass Show in their back yard or at grandma’s condo in Florida. Also, if it looked too staged, we ignored those as well. Otherwise, drunkenness and stupidity are fair game and pretty obvious in most of the clips.

Vote for your favorite at the poll to the right!

#5 – The guys shooting the video start tailgating another golf cart with disastrous results. NSFW language.

#4 – Someone has been watching “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” too much.

#3 – This one starts off simple enough, and then just keeps getting dumber.

#2 – These geniuses race for a dollar and the loser ends up, somehow, running over his own legs.

#1 – This is why your greens fees are so high. Slow down!

Concession Stand Operator Arrested for Embezzling Money From Youth Baseball League

At some point this guy’s wife helped cops, showing them the “real” books vs the “fake” books that he kept while operating the concession stand for the McCutchanville Baseball and Softball League. Probably the biggest mistake the league make (among others) was letting Anthony “Andy” Ice put all the proceeds from each sale into his personal account, and then he would turn around and write a check back to the league. And no one thought there was anything fishy about that? You people got what you deserved.

News of an arrest in a months-old embezzlement investigation is spreading through a Vanderburgh County youth sports league.  Last month FOX 7 broke the story of the investigation into issues inside the McCutchanville Baseball and Softball League.  The sheriff’s office arrested Anthony “Andy” Ice Wednesday afternoon.
He handled the concession stand money and allegedly took between $5,000 and $8,000.
He’s charged with one count of theft and is out of jail on $500 bond.  The sheriff’s office investigation into allegations of embezzlement started back in mid-July.
Board members FOX 7 spoke with say they have no comment at the moment.
Coaches out at the field say everyone is just trying to move on.  A sheriff’s affidavit shows Ice’s wife helped get investigators access to his “real” concession stand documents and his “fake” ones. Investigators said a big part of the problem was Ice would put the money into a personal account and then write a check to the league for what he said was the right amount.

Boo-Hoo: Isiah Thomas "Blindsided" by Comments in Magic Johnson’s Book

What? Other players didn’t like Isiah Thomas when he played for the Pistons? Our guess is that Thomas is the only one shocked by that revelation. Maybe it’s just that it’s out in the public . . . like some nasty sexual harassment lawsuit.

The criticisms are made by Johnson in When The Game Was Ours, which he co-wrote with Larry Bird and author Jackie MacMullan. The book, to be released on Nov. 4, tells the inside story of the most important rivalry in basketball history.

Much of their story involves Thomas, who as captain of the Detroit Pistons served as a primary threat to the championship ambitions of Bird’s Celtics and Magic’s Lakers. The book offers revelations that have stunned Thomas. Magic addresses years of rumors by finally accusing Thomas of questioning his sexuality after Johnson was diagnosed with HIV in 1991. Magic also admits that he joined with Michael Jordan and other players in blackballing Thomas from the 1992 Olympic Dream Team, saying, “Isiah killed his own chances when it came to the Olympics. Nobody on that team wanted to play with him. … Michael didn’t want to play with him. Scottie [Pippen] wanted no part of him. Bird wasn’t pushing for him. Karl Malone didn’t want him. Who was saying, ‘We need this guy?’ Nobody.”
