Joey Strong, 35, of Ausable Forks, faces felony third-degree rape and misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child and first-degree unlawful dealing with a child in connection with the alleged tryst, which police said took place at a Queensbury hotel in March, according to court documents obtained by WPTZ.com.

School principal Jean Pulsifer told WPTZ.com that the woman had coached girls basketball as a volunteer for eight years at the school, but also said she was not an employee at the school.

Pulsifer said in a statement, “The incident for which Mrs. Strong has been accused has nothing to do with her association with holy name school. during her time as a volunteer coach no policies were broken or infringed upon.” On March 30, Strong allegedly brought Coors Light beer to several underage people at the Comfort Suites, police said, and had sex with the boy that night.

In an FBI complaint filed April 25 at a US District Court in Kentucky, Karen Cunagin Sypher was revealed to attempt to extort as much as $10 million from University of Louisville men’s basketball coach Rick Pitino among a series of other demands including college tuition fee for her son, two cars, paying off her house and $3,000 in cash per month. The extortion was originated from an encounter of Karen Cunagin Sypher and Rick Pitino in 1993 which was not specified in the affidavit, earlier internet rumors said Karen Sypher and Rick Pitino might had a sexual relationship. We haven’t seen the police report on this one, but we’re call BS on a report that a “strong winds” flipped over a golf cart at the Beekman Country Club in East Fishkill, NY. Really? There was no booze or horseplay involved?

Police received a report at 1:19 p.m. of “a person pinned under a golf cart,” Sgt. Kevin Keefe said. When police arrived, the two golfers – one man was from Croton, the other from the Town of Cortlandt – had gotten out from under the golf cart. They suffered minor injuries, refused treatment and continued their game, he said.

The National Weather Service in Albany said a “dust devil” might be to blame. National Weather Service meteorologist Joe Villani said dry, clear conditions combined with wind and sunlight can cause “tiny little formations.” Villani likened them to eddy with “enough velocity to move objects.”
