At the end of the day, even sometimes great college football players don’t get to play in the NFL. When that happens, they have to find work in another field. But a prison guard? Well, that is good work, if you can find it . . . especially in a WOMEN’S prison. Unless, of course, you get accused of having sex with one of the incarcerated ladies. Apparently, while that happens often in the movies, the authorities frown upon it.
Here’s more from KTVB:
A former Boise State football player has run afoul of the law. Tim Gilligan was booked into the Ada County Jail Thursday on two felony counts of having sexual contact with an inmate.
The 28-year-old former prison guard is accused of having sexual contact on three separate occasions with a female inmate in April 2007. The woman did not reported the incidents to an IDOC employee until December 2008. An investigation was started and now Gilligan has been charged with a crime. Gilligan player wide receiver for the Broncos from 2000 to 2003.
