It seemed like a fool proof plan: wait until the girls gym class at Holly High School (Michigan) was in the locker room changing, climb into the ceiling and–somehow, without being seen–take pictures of the young ladies. It was fool proof, at least, until you feel that you have share your ill-gotten gains with the rest of the school and everyone, including the victims themselves, find out about them. More from MLive:
The mother of a 15-year-old sophomore at Holly High School said three boys at the school climbed into a locker room ceiling Wednesday and took cellphone videos of her daughter and other girls as they changed after gym class. Holly police on Thursday said they are investigating an incident at the school involving a camera phone but did not detail any allegations.”
Today Holly High School officials reported a possible violation of student privacy and potential violation of State Law by a Holly High School student,” police said in a prepared release. The mother, who did not want to be named because it would embarrass her daughter, said her daughter called her after school Wednesday distraught. “She was humiliated, she felt very bad,” the mother said. “She’s just 15. She was obviously worried if they were sending (the pictures) out.”
The woman said her daughter did not know she was being filmed during second hour gym class but found out after school when friends told her the boys were filming from the ceiling near where her locker was.”I don’t understand how three boys could get up into the ceiling; there are other kids and teachers around, how could anyone not notice?” said the mother, adding she is upset that school officials did not tell parents about the alleged incident.
