It’s a new year, but the same old High School Coach Sex Scandals. This one comes to us from San Clemente, California. Here’s more from OC Register:

An intramural sports coach appeared in court Friday on charges that he molested four boys, ages 11 to 13, after befriending their families and spending time alone with the victims, prosecutors said. Cameron Joseph Baca, 27, of San Clemente, requested that his arraignment be delayed until Jan. 9, said Susan Schroeder, a spokeswoman for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Baca was arrested Wednesday and is being held on $1 million bail. He has also requested a bail hearing on Jan. 9, Schroeder said. Baca is charged with 11 felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, four felony counts of distribution of pornography to a minor, and one felony count of attempted lewd acts on a child under 14, prosecutors said.
