Say what? Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter came to the defense of former Steelers teammate Plaxico Burress during an interview on ESPN, saying professional athletes have a right to own guns, because, “Until you’ve been in a situation where you’ve been robbed at gun point, or you’ve had a gun waived in your face, or been car jacked, you really don’t know what it feels like.” He goes on to say that he has a permit to carry a gun . . . just not in the state of Florida where he now lives.
